An Giang University Collaborates with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City for a Seminar on Agriculture and Information Technology

On April 27, 2024, An Giang University, in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, organized a professional seminar in agriculture and information technology as part of the events commemorating the 52nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India

The seminar was attended by the presence of Mr. Mahesh Chand Giri, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Thang, the President of An Giang University, alongside leaders from various departments and a multitude of students.

Mr. Mahesh Chand Giri, representing the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, commended the enduring bond between India and Vietnam over 52 years, expressing confidence in advancing this diplomatic relationship. He extended gratitude to An Giang University for organizing the seminar and valued the delegates' active participation and insightful contributions.

President Vo Van Thang highlighted the strong ties between Vietnam and India, as well as An Giang University and the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City. During the seminar, experts from the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City and An Giang University discussed innovative technologies in agriculture and information technology, including coastal aquaculture for sustainable farming, artificial intelligence, homemade aquafeed, biological and green biochemical techniques, and cost-saving solutions for small and medium-scale farmers.
