Lao and Cambodian student training conference
On October 1, 2023, An Giang University, VNU-HCM hosted a seminar to exchange training activities for Laos and Cambodian students.
The conference attendees were reported information the activities, including training, managing and assisting international Laos and Cambodian students in An Giang University. The reports outlined the benefits, challenges and suggestions for improve these activities.
At the conference, Assoc. Prof Ho Thanh Binh, Vice President of An Giang University, underlined the value of foreign training the An Giang University and said that the University was ready to carry out the policies of An Giang Provincial People's Committee on assisting Laos and Cambodia in human resource training via full scholarship funding. The Vice President hoped that all the units of the University would pay more special attention to teaching and supporting Lao and Cambodian students.
In the future, An Giang University will have a specific work plan with the representatives from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia in order to receive more foreign students to study in the University under full-scholarships or self-payment, contributing to quality training improvement and tighten the friendly relations, cooperation, and development among the three countries.
