The Faculty of Agriculture and Natural resources welcomed the professors of Saga University
The Faculty of Agriculture and Natural resources, An Giang University, VNU-HCM has been meeting with the professors of Saga University to discuss some directions of the scientific research cooperation of Japanese soybean and ice plant.
The two school representatives reported the Japanese soybean and ice plant research results. They discussed several contents of the pilot to improve soil fertility in some districts of Kien Giang and An Giang, the advantages and disadvantages of planting soybean and ice plant, the results, and the selection of suitable and high-value cultivars.
The two schools discussed the activities that An Giang University participated in the project “The pilot to improve soil fertility and to increase the income for farmers in An Giang province”. This project is the cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) is the sponsor.
