Welcome PLANTNER Company (Korea) to An Giang University, VNU-HCM
On February 2, 2023, An Giang University, Vietnam National University-HCM, organized a meeting with PLANTNER Company (Korea) to exchange and discuss the implementation of collaboration in the field of agriculture.
Representing PLANTNER Company were Mr. Jeong Woo Shin (CEO), Mr. Ju Hyeong Park (Operations Director), Mr. Byeong Sun Sun (Project Manager), and Ms. Da On Yang (Project Manager).
Accompanying the delegation were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Thang, the President of An Giang University (AGU), along with representatives from the External Relations Office, the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and the Experimental-Practical Area.
On behalf of the university, President Vo Van Thang expressed joy regarding the collaboration between the two parties. Through the partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the university has the opportunity to engage with various enterprises, including PLANTNER Company. He hopes that this exchange will lead to numerous collaborative activities and the implementation of new projects between the two sides.
At the meeting, Mr. Jeong Woo Shin, CEO of PLANTNER Company, shared that this is the second time the company has come to discuss and work with AGU. He believes that through cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, new projects can be implemented effectively, especially in experimental activities. PLANTNER Company hopes to receive support from the lecturers and students of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and both sides will continue detailed discussions to clarify activities and work towards signing a memorandum of cooperation in the near future.
Dr. Phan Phuong Loan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, expressed gratitude for the proposed collaboration from PLANTNER Company and pledged the full support of the Faculty during the implementation of this cooperative project.
After the meeting, the PLANTNER company delegation visited the Experimental - Practical Area and went on a field trip to gain a better understanding of the facilities at AGU.
