On August 27 2020, An Giang University held the Closing Ceremony of the Vietnamese language course and awarded certificates to 02 officials from Takeo province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

The Vietnamese language course was organized for 02 Cambodian officials, Dong Uch and San Veasna and took place from March 2019 to August 2020. During the course, the two learners always tried their best to acquire knowledge and spend time on practice to master Vietnamese language. Students also participated in picnics and field trips, cultural and artistic activities organized by the Faculty of Education. In addition to learning Vietnamese language, the Cambodian officials also actively learned about Vietnamese culture and Vietnamese people.
Dong Uch, one of the learners, thanked the University deeply and promised that, on his return to Cambodia, he would continue to use Vietnamese at work and try his best to strengthen the relationship between An Giang and Ta Keo provinces better and better.
According to Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Dat - AGU’s Vice President, the Vietnamese language course for Cambodian students is an annual activity of AGU which demonstrates the sustainable and friendly cooperation between the 02 neighboring countries Vietnam - Cambodia in general and the 02 provinces of An Giang - Takeo in particular.
