77 Students from An Giang University Receive Scholarships at the University-Locality-Business Connection Day

On February 22, VNU-HCM organized the University-Locality-Business Connection Festival. During the event, 77 AGU students received scholarships from local authorities and VNU-HCM's partner enterprises.

The event was one of the key events celebrating the 30^th anniversary of VNU-HCM’s establishment and development.

The program was attended by the VNU-HCM Board of Directors, heads of member and affiliated units, local authorities, and representatives of partner enterprises.

At the festival, local authorities and businesses awarded 527 scholarships to outstanding students from VNU-HCM with financial difficulties. Specifically, An Giang University had 77 scholarship recipients, including: 3 students receiving full scholarships (each worth 50 million VND); 46 students and 9 high school students receiving the “Overcoming Hardship, Studying Well” scholarships (each worth 5 million VND); 19 students receiving local government scholarships (each worth 5 million VND).

The scholarship award ceremony is not only a recognition of young people’s relentless efforts but also an expression of the support and companionship of local authorities and businesses in empowering students on their journey of learning and development.

As part of the event, students also had the opportunity to engage with speakers in the panel discussion titled “University-Locality-Business Connection: Collaborating for Economic and Social Development” and explore the exhibition on scientific, technological and innovative products, organized in celebration of the 30^th anniversary of VNU-HCM.
