Approval of a VNU-HCM-level research project

On February 19, 2025, An Giang University, VNU-HCM, held The Acceptance Council for the VNU-level Category C Research Project. The project was named “Factors Affecting the Mental Health of Primary Healthcare Workers During the Post-COVID-19 Recovery Period in An Giang Province.” and was led by MSc. Le Thi Hong Hanh, a specialist from the Student Affairs Office.

The object of the study was to assess the mental health status of Primary healthcare workers during the current post -COVID-19 recovery period. Mental health symptoms include anxiety, stress, depression, and the experience/perception of well-being. The research helped to identify some factors affecting the mental health of healthcare workers in An Giang and propose a suitable self-care model.

The results showed that many primary healthcare workers suffered from depression, anxiety, and stress, ranging from mild to severe. The study also found a strong connection between emotional, social, and psychological well-being and overall happiness. The findings provide useful information for healthcare authorities to improve mental healthcare. The project successfully published one Q4 journal article and two K6 articles, exceeding the initial goal.

The project was rated as "Good" and approved by the Acceptance Council.
