The 17th Annual Conference of Social Work and Community Health Services
Recently, An Giang University, HCM-VN and West Virginia University (USA) collaborated to organize the Annual Summer Training on Social Work And Community Health Services. This marks the 17th year that the two universities have jointly conducted this event.
The training focused on 10 topics related to the application of knowledge, skills, and practical methods in social work and community health with the contributions of international experts.
The conference was conducted both online and in-person at An Giang University, attracting nearly 700 participants. On behalf of An Giang University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Thang - the Rector, expressed gratitude to Prof. Neal Newfield and Prof. Susan Newfield from West Virginia University for their 17 years of partnership in organizing the conference. He also extended appreciation to the Pacific Links Foundation for their collaboration in the training program at the conference. This event represents a meaningful cooperation between An Giang University and West Virginia University. The conference has trained thousands of participants, contributing to the development of social work activities in An Giang province and Vietnam as a whole. It is hoped that the conference will be sustained and further developed in the coming years.
