Welcoming the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia and Commemorating 10 Years of Cooperation with Andalas University
On July 12, 2023, An Giang University, VNU-HCM warmly welcomed Indonesian Ambassador Denny Abdi to participate in the ceremony commemorating 10 years of cooperation between An Giang University and Andalas University.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Thang, the President of An Giang University, stated: "Over the past 10 years, the two universities have engaged in fruitful cooperation, especially in student exchange programs and practical learning at both institutions. Many lecturers and students from An Giang University have been awarded full scholarships for master's and doctoral degrees at Andalas University. The President hoped that Ambassador Denny Abdi would continue to provide more attention and support for further and deeper cooperation between Andalas University and An Giang University, contributing to the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Indonesia."
Representing Andalas University, Prof. Ardi, who initiated the cooperation between the two universities, was deeply moved by the special affection and enthusiastic support from An Giang University throughout the past 10 years.
Ambassador Denny Abdi of Indonesia to Vietnam expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from An Giang University. He emphasized the strong and friendly cooperation between Indonesia and Vietnam over the years and expressed the desire to continue connecting the people of the two countries in common issues such as food security and climate change adaptation.
During the commemoration ceremony, An Giang University showcased over 20 outstanding research products and production processes developed by faculty and students from the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources. These products and processes covered various fields, including food technology, biotechnology, plant science, and aquaculture.
