Following the Decision to establish new training programs in 2017 – 2018, on April 7th 2018, An Giang University held an evaluation session for the three-year undergraduate programs in Graphic Design and Fine Arts.
The Evaluation Committee consisted of 7 members: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dat (Vice Rector of An Giang University) – Chair, Ms. Tran Thi My (Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Culture, and Arts, An Giang University) – Deputy Chair, examiners from An Giang Department of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Sai Gon University, Ton Duc Thang University, and Can Tho College of Arts and Culture.

On behalf of the program development team, Mr. Tran Kim Ngan and Mr. Pham Thanh Hung – Lecturers in Fine Arts (Faculty of Tourism, Culture, and Arts) briefly presented the needs for the programs and program establishment plans.
According to the Committee, the programs in Graphic Design and Fine Arts satisfied the criteria for undergraduate training programs such as foundation of the programs, program objectives, curriculum and course outlines. The examiners also provided feedback for modifications such as adding more elective subjects for non-thesis track, changing some courses’ names and credits, and modifying the semesters’ curriculum.

The programs were approved by the Committee with 7/7 votes. The program development team would modify the programs based on the feedback of the Committee. The proposal to establish the three-year undergraduate programs in Graphic Design and Fine Arts would be presented to the Ministry of Education and Training for further considerations.
