On the morning of April 17, 2017, at An Giang University, the Center for Education and Development (CED) in collaboration with the Asia Foundation (TAF) held an exchange program with young leaders from Asian countries. This is an activity dedicated to Teillon – Ludlow female scholarship students.
The female students had a chance to exchange with 12 guests from several countries in Asia such as India, Pakistan, Thailand, Nepal, Mongolia, ect. These are young leaders outstandingly active in many fields such as research of climate change, television news production, human rights protection, gender equality, economic development and regional cooperation. Through the exchange program, young leaders shared with the students their success stories, helped them to build teamwork skills, communication skills, time management skills, how to plan a study and research, ect.
Speaking at the exchange, Assoc. Prof. Vo Van Thang, President of An Giang University, said that the event would contribute to enhancing the cohesion and cultural understanding between Vietnam and other countries in the region. President hoped scholarship students would find a motivation for themselves, have their future orientations and constantly strive to learn, to become young human resources contributing to the social building and development.
Being known, the Teillon - Ludlow scholarship program is sponsored by CED and TAF for female students in Agriculture and Information technology from An Giang University and Can Tho University. In addition to supporting scholarships, the program also organizes many training and exchange activities to enhance skills for students, helping them to better access job opportunities after graduation.
