On the morning of February 19, An Giang University launched an online advisory session on student enrolment 2020.
Attending the session were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Thang - Rector of the University - and the leaders of many faculties and departments of the univeristy.
The advisory session aimed to provide basic information and certain new points on the national high school exam and college entrance examination in 2020 at An Giang University, including such information as documents, regulations, training programs, scholarships, policies, jobs and other relevant issues.
In 2020, An Giang University, as a member of VNU-HCM, coded as QSA, expect to select 2,475 new students, with 38 undergraduate training programs among which are 4 high quality programs and 1 three-year teacher training program.
This year AGU is recruiting students across the country by 05 admission methods, consisting of direct admission (about 1%); being based on the results of the National High School Exam 2020 (about 40%), being based on the high school academic records (10%); being based on the results of the VNU-HCM's competency assessment exam in 2020 (39%); and a newly-adopted method in accordance with the regulations of VNU-HCM (10%).
In the near future, AGU will organize admission counseling sessions at high schools, at the university and on air in conjunction with An Giang Radio and Television Station.
