On the morning of 27th March, An Giang University welcomed and had a meeting with Future Generations University (America). The meeting aimed to create an cooperative opportunity between universities.
Attending the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Thang - the Rector and the boards of the School Divisions and representatives of the board of An Giang Department of Education and Training. As for the delegation of Future Generations University (America), there came to the meeting Daniel Wayne Wessner - a professor and Mrs. Holdeman Elizabeth Anne - Director of Language Programs.


At the meeting, Professor Daniel Wayne Wessner generally introduced strengths of Future Generations University and shared the Bending Bamboo Project. This project aimed to enhance language competency and develop English teaching skills for teachers in different grades. A curriculum of the Bending Bamboo Project is according to iC5 (Inter-Cultural Communicative Competencies). The professor expected to cooperate with An Giang University and An Giang Department of Education and Training in developing the Bending Bamboo Project in An Giang Province with the aim of improving learning and teaching English curriculum and methods in different grades.
On the behalf of An Giang University, the Rector Vo Van Thang expressed thanks to representatives of Future Generations University for their visit and hoped that cooperative relationships between two universities will be promoted in the future.
