On May 9th 2018, An Giang University collaborated with International Youth Fellowship (IYF) and An Giang Union of Friendship Organisations to hold the Mind Education program for over 500 students.
Mind Education program is organised by IYF for students worldwide to improve students’ skills and awareness through numerous activities; the program is also a cultural exchange opportunity for the purpose of “Changes – Challenges – Fellowship”
Attending the event were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Thang – Secretary of Party Committee and Rector of An Giang University, Mr. Tran Anh Ngoc – Chairman of the An Giang Union of Friendship Organisations, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Ha – Head of the IYF Training Office in Vietnam, Ms. Cao Thuy Oanh – Head of IYF Finance Office in Vietnam and the representatives of An Giang Province Youth Union, Heads of the External Relations Office, Students Affairs Office, Library, and Standing Committee of An Giang University Youth Union.

The students were inspired by the successful stories of leaders worldwide and ways to deal with problems. There were also music performances and great chances to get to know Korean culture through IYF Academy and interesting games from IYF teachers and students.
On behalf of the school, Rector Vo Van Thang sincerely thanked IYF and An Giang Union of Friendship Organisations for holding this meaningful program for the students to enhance their skills, thinking, optimism, and potentials.

IYF is a non-governmental organisation founded in 2001 with the headquarters in Seoul (Korea) and has been established in 80 countries. IYF frequently organises lots of programs to develop skills and personalities for young people and holds international events such as World Conference of Ministers, World Camping program, World International Volunteer program, etc. so as to propose solutions responding to the youth’s concerns.
