From July 31 to August 5, 2019, a group of An Giang University students had a practical field trip at Assumption University (Thailand).
This trip was one of the activities under the framework of a signed memorandum of cooperation between the two universities. The delegation was led by Master Duong Phu Dien - Deputy Head of Department of Collective Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
During the trip, AGU students were able to see facilities (including Hua Mak campus, Suvarnabhumi campus and City campus) and learn about the strong training programs of Assumption University. Besides, the students also heard Dr. Aaron Loh (Head of Assumption University's Office of International Cooperation and Universities Connection) share useful knowledge of the subject "Business opportunities in international marketing". In addition, the delegation also experienced Thai cultures through visiting the city of Bangkok and Ayutthaya Citadel.
Through the field trip, the students not only improved their English proficiency, understood more about the learning environment and methods of international students, but also helped themselves be better prepared in case they would like to hunt for scholarships and study abroad. The field trip also contributed to strengthening the relationship between An Giang University and Assumption University. After the field trip, the students were presented a certificate by Assumption University to replace the score of the graduation internship module.
