On July 11, 2020, AGU Youth Union – Student Association held a launching ceremony for the 2020 Volunteer Summer with Green Summer Campaign (Chiến dịch Mùa Hè Xanh), Red Flamboyant Flower Campaign (Chiến dịch Hoa Phượng Đỏ) and Exam Assistance Program (Chương trình tiếp sức mùa thi).
In the 2020 Volunteer Summer Campaign, the AGU students will focus on implementing practical youth works such as: establishing specialized teams to share technology and science to people in remote areas; visiting and taking care of policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, lonely elderlies, Vietnamese heroic mothers, families of soldiers and officials on duty in seas and islands; lighting candles to show gratitude to heroic martyr; etc. It is expected that more than 10 models will be deployed to disadvantaged areas and 01 friendship house which is worth 50 million VND will be given to a student of the University.
At the launching ceremony, AGU Youth Union and Student Association awarded 2 children playgrounds to Youth Union of Tinh Bien district and An Phu district.
