From July 10 to 13, 1818, An Giang University organized a training workshop on "Applying the principles of systematic compatibility to improve the quality of teaching at university" for about 40 lecturers who are leaders from faculties and departments throughout the University.
The workshop aimed to help lecturers update their professional knowledge and improve their teaching skills in line with the Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate (CDIO) model, which contributes to enhancing the training quality of the University.



At the workshop, Dr.. Nguyen Thi Hao - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (National University of Ho Chi Minh City) presented contents such as: Overview of the principle of systematic compatibility; Plan - Do - Check - Act (PDCA) approach in designing and developing training curriculum or course syllabus; how to set output standards, course objectives in accordance with the CDIO model; perfecting the course syllabus and lesson plans; how to increase learners’ participation in the subjects;
At the conference, participants practiced designing and organizing teaching activities to ensure the compatibility between output standards, teaching activities and testing & evaluation, then to improve the learning effectiveness for students.


On behalf of the University, Vice-Rector Tran Van Dat expressed thanks to Dr. Nguyen Thi Hao for her support in the workshop. Also, he hoped the knowledge and experience shared at the conference would be applied appropriately in the teaching practice, especially in designing course syllabus and training program output.
