On 31 August 2018, An Giang University held a workshop on “collaboration in education and research in the economic integration era” as part of the MOU between An Giang University and Assumption University (Thailand)
The workshop warmly welcomed Dr. Aaron Loh – Director of the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Ms. Yunmei Wang – Lecturer in the MBA program at Assumption University (Thailand), Ms. Phan Tue Chau – Vice Director of the Resource Center for Community Development, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tri – Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, as well as lecturers and students of An Giang University.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Tri emphasised the importance of student exchange programs between the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and Assumption University. This was seen as an opportunity for the school development and for the students to experience modern education with English as the language of instructions.
Dr. Aaron Loh also shared his ideas about the plans for visits to Assumption University, student exchange programs for a semester, and the future joint programs between the two schools.


Ms. Yunmei Wang also shared with the students on how to improve their personal values and competitive qualities. Having been to over 50 countries, she admired the life-long learning spirit of Assumption University staff and hoped that the students would make proper plans for their life-long learning and English language development for better employment chances.


The students, mainly from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, raised numerous questions about the fees, schedules, procedures and internship of the exchange programs.

After the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tri hoped that the collaboration projects would be timely undertaken for education and exchange opportunities for the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and An Giang University.
