Following the Plan for 2017 – 2018 academic year, on April 21st 2018, the Center for Foreign Languages held a workshop to introduce foreign language programs and provide orientation for An Giang University students in learning a foreign language. The workshop was to increase students’ awareness of the role of learning a foreign language, the methods, and the current program at the Center.
Attending the workshop were Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet – Vice Director of the Center for Foreign Languages, Mr. Phan Van Chi – Vice Director of the Center, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, and Faculty of Tourism, Cultures and Arts.
The lecturers of the Center and former students of An Giang University presented the following topics: Benefits of learning a foreign language; Some experience in learning a foreign language; Foreign language programs and policies at the Center for Foreign Languages. Following each presentation was a Q&A session.

The Center for Foreign Languages had some special offers for the participants such as 20% fee waiver for all programs at the Center and 50% fee waiver for student participants raising questions at the workshop.
